The objective of this test is to ensure the vehicle is safe for driving, while it goes up to the speed of 60 kmph. The test demands to attain the minimum speed of 45 kmph within 100 ft. distance and should be capable to stop with all four wheels locked within the distance of 15 ft. Every team should demonstrate that all four-wheel brakes are effective for high speed braking. Each vehicle must come to rest in an approximately straight line after acceleration run specified by the inspectors. If a vehicle fails to pass any part of the inspection it must be corrected/modified and brought into compliance with the rules before it is permitted to operate
